Warranty and Support

Manufacturer’s Warranty: All products purchased through Izipho Tech & Solutions are covered by the individual manufacturer’s warranty. These standard warranties are forwarded and provided by Izipho Tech & Solutions. Izipho Tech & Solutions is not responsible for any additional or extended warranties provided through other places of purchase or directly by the manufacturer.

Technical Support: Consumers requiring technical support or exchanges must support@iziphogifts.com. Consumers must provide their original proof of purchase for any warranty service to be carried out for repair or exchange only. Credit requests must be processed accounts@iziphogifts.com.
Standard Terms and Conditions

Applicability: These conditions apply to all products purchased from Izipho Tech & Solutions and returned for repair, replacement/exchange, or credit.

Carry-in Warranty: Izipho Tech & Solutions' warranty is a carry-in warranty unless otherwise specified. The purchaser is responsible for returning the products to Izipho Tech & Solutions and bearing the cost of logistics.

Fault Verification: All defective goods returned to Izipho Tech & Solutions will be thoroughly tested by our in-house technicians to verify the fault.

Warranty Period: Products have a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise:

HP Calculators: 2-Year Warranty

Transcend Hard Drive: 3-Year Warranty

PNY / HP Memory: 5-Year Warranty

Kingsons Bags: Limited Lifetime Warranty (subject to fair usage)

Warranty Void Conditions: The warranty is null and void if the serial number label is missing, damaged, or tampered with. Removal of “Do not remove” or “Do not break” seals and stickers will also void the warranty.

Tampering and User-Induced Damage: Any products with visible signs of tampering or user-induced damage will have the warranty voided immediately. The removal and replacement of factory-fitted cooling options with aftermarket options will void the warranty. Damaged screw points and screws indicating an attempt to open or tamper with the product will also void the warranty.

Electrical Damage: Products damaged or rendered inoperable through electrical damage (e.g., power surges, lightning) will have the warranty voided unless protected by surge protection. Non-approved AC/DC power adaptors will not be covered and if found to cause damage, will void the warranty.

Repair or Replacement: Faulty components will be repaired or replaced within a minimum of 48 hours, subject to stock availability and reparability.

No Fault Found: If a component is not found to be faulty, it will be returned to the customer at their expense or made available for collection.

Carry-In Inspection: Where possible, carry-in items will be inspected and dealt with as you wait. Items requiring longer periods will need to be booked in. Standard turnaround for returns is 48-72 hours.

Consumer Electronics: Tablets and similar products will be booked in with an average turnaround of 72 hours, subject to spare parts availability.

Data Responsibility: Izipho Tech & Solutions takes no responsibility for the backup or integrity of personal or company data. Customers must make full backups of any data present. Izipho Tech & Solutions will not perform or pay for data recovery services.

Return Criteria: When returning products for repair, ensure:

The unit(s) are undamaged.

A detailed fault report is attached.

A copy of the purchase invoice is included.

Authorized Repair Centers: Products with an authorized repair center in South Africa will be sent to the relevant repair centers. Izipho Tech & Solutions will ensure repairs are done promptly, but parts availability may affect turnaround times.

Replacement Units: Brand new replacements or exchanges cannot be guaranteed. Some items may be replaced with refurbished units.

Shortage Substitutions: In case of shortages, items will be swapped with the most similar product or credited at Izipho Tech & Solutions' discretion.

Repair Charges: Customers will pay for repairs if the warranty is void or expired.

Uncollected Repairs: Izipho Tech & Solutions will not be responsible for products not collected within 3 months. Uncollected items will be sold to recoup costs.

Credit Policy: Full credit will be considered if returns are made within 7 days of the invoice date and goods are in resalable condition. After 7 days and up to 30 days, credit will be considered at 70% of the current sale price or original purchase price, whichever is lower.

30-Day Return Policy: No credit will be considered for returns after 30 days from the invoice date.

Handling Charges: A 30% handling charge applies to credits without original packaging. Credits of this nature are at Izipho Tech & Solutions' discretion.

Software and Peripherals: Opened software and peripherals with blister packaging cannot be credited.

Component Orders: Uncollected components/spare parts orders will be cancelled after 5 days.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Izipho Tech & Solutions may change these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically. Continued use of the website implies acceptance of any amendments.
Website Security
Any person attempting to deliver damaging code or gain unauthorized access to this website will be prosecuted. Users must ensure their login details are secure and personal. Izipho Tech & Solutions will take reasonable steps to ensure website integrity and security.
